I had the incredible opportunity to work on The Effect at The National Theatre as a Directing Apprentice under Jamie Lloyd. This experience allowed me to gain invaluable skills in staging a large-scale production over a four-month run. Working closely with Jamie Lloyd, I was involved in multiple aspects of the production, from casting and videography to directing and producing. I observed and contributed to the intricate process of bringing a play to life at a prestigious venue, gaining hands-on experience in how a high-profile theatrical production is executed. This apprenticeship deepened my understanding of storytelling, creative collaboration, and the meticulous attention to detail required to deliver a successful, large-scale play.
